All you have to do is let Step By Step know that you are interested in solving a problem with your computer. You can do this by sending us an email. We will give you the instructions you need to establish a remote connection. You will download a file from our website. Click on the downloaded file to open it. You will see some numbers on your screen. You simply give these numbers to the computer technician and then they are able to establish a connection to your computer. You control this connection and can disconnect at any time. Each time you establish a new connection you will have to give a new set of code numbers to the technician. The technician will not be able to establish a connection to your computer without this new set of numbers.
